It serves the areas of Peniel, Bronwydd, Rhydargaeau, and Pont-ar-Sais. Carmarthenshire Education Authority has placed the school in Category A. The majority of the curriculum is taught through the medium of Welsh. Our vision is to enable children to develop their abilities, skills, and knowledge required to become caring and purposeful members of our ever-changing community within a happy and stable environment, and to encourage continuity through the stages of their development to become life-long learners. Children, teachers, and parents at Ysgol Peniel seek to work together to ensure that pupils are given a good start. We work hard, but also have enjoyment and pleasure. Our vision is to enable children to develop the abilities, skills, and knowledge required to become caring and useful members of our changing society within a happy and stable environment, and to encourage continuity through the stages of child development to become lifelong learners. Our aim as a school is to educate children to their full potential in a happy, safe, and homely/comfortable environment. Children must be educated and developed emotionally, socially, physically, morally, and intellectually. We seek to achieve these aims by: Providing opportunities for every pupil to learn and to succeed. Promoting the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of the pupils and preparing pupils for life’s opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences. Creating a caring and safe environment so that they experience a high level of self-respect. Developing pupils’ responsibility towards the environment. Developing a prominent place for the School within the local community. Reacting positively to the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly changing world. Creating awareness of our heritage and culture, and ensuring access to the Welsh Curriculum Establishing a high standard of teaching and ensuring that every child is educated in every aspect of the National Curriculum.
