However, the most important partnership is with parents. We value your support more than any other, especially when it comes to maintaining the high standards we set at our school. We feel that you are vitally important to your child’s success and we encourage you to stay in contact and involved with the school.

Wheelers Lane is an 11- 16 comprehensive school for boys. We are proud of our achievements to date yet committed to continual improvement. We have an outstanding record of year-on-year improvement, not only in academic performance but also in attendance, behavior, and enrichment opportunities. We are a forward-thinking community working together to ensure a successful future for all our students. Our school has the following vision:

We are in the exciting position of educating our boys in a contemporary, stimulating building with superb facilities across all curriculum areas.
