Studying with us is a unique experience. Not only do our Global Academy students work towards GCSE or A-Level qualifications, but they also learn all the hands-on skills needed to work in the broadcast and digital media industry - and all in our state-of-the-art surroundings in Hayes, London.
In-School Year starting September 2018 we'll be accepting 150 students aged 14 to join us in Year 10 and 150 students aged 16 to study with us in Year 12. As we grow even further, our University Technical College [UTC] will soon be welcoming up to 800 students and helping them to grow too.
At the moment we're looking at offering 50% of our places to students who live within a 5-mile radius of the Academy. Then we’ll throw our doors open to the remaining 50% to join us from anywhere in the UK.
We'll be non-selective, cater for students of all abilities, and because we're state-funded, there'll be no fees to pay as you enjoy real-life learning with us.

What’s important to know about Obsession is that it is an attitude, a state of mind. It's not a literal thing. By using an obsession to underpin everything we do, we hope to create inquisitive, confident, and reflective students who can harness their creativity to progress their well-being and that of others.
Our vision is to practically educate young people to be ready for life in the creative media sector, linking all education through our specialism in broadcast and digital media.
The Global Academy's facilities are available to hire. Based in the Hayes / Hillingdon community and close to Heathrow Airport We have facilities for hire that are great for sport, drama, martial arts, business meetings, events plus much more! The venue is a short walk from Hayes and Harlington Station, located on the soon to open Elizabeth line, and is 15 minutes from Central London by public transport.
The Global Academy in West London houses a range of state-of-the-art radio and TV studios as well as industry-standard music production and recording facilities. With free parking on site, The Global Academy can also accommodate private functions, birthday parties, conferences, and events at affordable, low-cost prices.
There are great sports facilities available for hire at The Global Academy including a Sports Hall. The facility is host to many local sports teams and is the ideal venue for clubs to make their home. We can provide a space for weekly training sessions, club fixtures, and larger spaces for fundraising or social occasions. Facilities are also available for competitions and tournaments with parking available. In addition, the school's sports facilities are also ideal for the aerobic, circuit, and personal training sessions too. We can also help promote your club, group, or event free of charge via e-marketing, social media, and in-school promotional campaigns.
