At Stacey Primary School, we define the Curriculum as all of the learning activities planned by the School to promote learning, personal growth, creativity, and development. At Stacey Primary, our policy includes not only the formal requirements of the Foundation Phase and National Curriculum underpinned by the Skills Framework but other frameworks and guidance.

We aim to develop the whole child through the implementation of a broad and balanced curriculum that is differentiated to allow and encourage all children to develop at their pace and having been set sufficient challenge. It is also important for us to ensure that as a school our curriculum is progressive, cohesive, and continuous. to ensure that all children have the opportunity to be successful and to use that success to sustain a motivation to learn throughout their lives.

We want every child to feel safe, happy, respected, cared for, and to have a sense of belonging. In a nurturing atmosphere, we build the confidence of each individual so that they thrive and can achieve their absolute best in every aspect of a broad and balanced curriculum.
