We, at St. Thomas’, seek to prepare pupils to find happiness and to lead lives of goodness, built upon Christian values, personal integrity, and moral courage. We have a very committed, and highly supportive, staff that strives to ensure that all of our children are happy, successful, and prepared with the skills and attributes to participate fully in our future society.
We believe that each matter. Through positive attitudes and partnership, we endeavor to develop the whole child, meeting individual needs in a safe, secure stimulating learning environment. Everyone is encouraged to take responsibility, to have high expectations of themselves and others, to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens, and effective contributors.’

In St Thomas’ our vision is to provide a nurturing and positive ethos for the whole school community underpinned by the values of our Catholic faith. In St Thomas’ Primary, we value each individual and strive to treat each other with compassion, equality, and fairness to promote honesty, respect, and positivity in our school. We believe everyone has the right to be treated fairly in an inclusive environment where there is compassion, tolerance, and respect.
St. Thomas’ Primary School we follow the values and principles for the curriculum as set out in ‘A Curriculum for Excellence. It affirms that ACfE is for all young people in all educational settings and that it should support them in a range of ways that help them to maximize their potential. At the heart lies the aspiration that all children and young people should be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens, and effective contributors (that is they should develop in the four capacities).
