St Catherine Catholic Primary School is a small, diverse, and friendly community that has the Gospel values at the heart of all that we do, with faith development and worship central to the experience that our children enjoy.
Our aim is that all you need to know about our school is on our website and that it will help improve communication between home, school, and parish. We aim to ensure all information is up to date and useful, we welcome any feedback on how it can be improved.
We have high expectations of all pupils, and through an experienced team of highly committed teachers and support staff working in close partnership with parents, St Catherine School achieves high academic standards.
We seek to work in partnership with our parish, deanery, diocese, and other schools in our quest for excellence. We seek to support parents, as the first teachers of their children, to encourage children to make full use of their God-given gifts.
We aim to contribute to the 'common good of the society which we serve and live in. The poor and disadvantaged - in financial, social, academic, or spiritual terms - are our primary concern.
We are blessed to serve a diverse multi-cultural, multi-faith school community which we celebrate. On an individual level, we expect children to have open minds and to be the unique person God created them to be as we seek to meet their specific needs.
We value a broad, balanced, and rich curriculum that prepares pupils for life in the rapidly changing world in which we now live. Children have many opportunities to develop their spiritual, moral, social, and cultural skills to enable them to become fully responsible members of society.
As a catholic school, we play a central role in the mission of the Church to make Christ known and loved. We place Him and the teaching of the Church at the center of children's lives and hope that their journey of faith and spirituality at St Catherine is the inspiration to live their lives fully as Christians.

We aim to form mature human persons in the image and likeness of Christ through living the gospel values. We seek not only to transform the individual human lives of our pupils but also through them, the society which they will help to build.

Our school is a learning organization we are constantly evolving and seeking new solutions. We are open to all cultures and traditions, children of faith and children of no faith, and care especially for the poor and disadvantaged.
