St Anthony’s is a one-form catholic primary school in the London Borough of Bromley. At St Anthony’s our curriculum is inclusive and celebrates the social and cultural diversity of our school. There are several transition points during the academic year. Before starting at St Anthony’s, visits are made by our Early Years Specialist and support staff to nurseries and Early Years settings to get to know the children. Careful planning and discussion are undertaken to ensure that your child’s needs are fully catered for. At the end of the summer term, pupils can meet with their new teacher during our class swap day to prepare for the transition to their new year group. In Year 6, several meetings are arranged to prepare pupils for transition to secondary school. From time to time, in year transfers are made we have a buddy system to help pupils settle in quickly.
