Rhiwbeina, we aim to foster strong links both inside and outside the school, in our local community, and beyond. We hope you find our website both useful and informative with up-to-date news and photographs to let you know what is happening in our school.
We encourage parents to be involved in their child's learning both at home and in school. If you have a spare hour or two to assist the staff, you would be most welcome. Together we can make a difference for all our children. At Rhiwbeina we provide a caring, secure challenge, and enjoyable learning environment to which children, staff, parents, and Governors are proud to belong. We celebrate pupil's achievements and successes and aim to prepare our pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences of a fast-changing world. We value the talents and contributions of everyone in our TEAM and encourage mutual respect for all.
If your child is to join us for the first time we welcome you as parents and look forward to a happy and successful association over the coming years. This booklet provides information on the school, its curriculum, and activities. Confidence in a school comes from knowing and understanding what is happening within it. We hope you will extend your knowledge through contact and discussion with myself and members of staff and take advantage of the numerous occasions for consultation. It is important that mutual understanding and trust should be the basis of our shared responsibility. When you read the prospectus you will find many ways in which we can work together to make your child’s time with us a happy and rewarding experience.
To provide a safe, happy & inspirational learning environment that empowers all learners to appreciate excellence and aim high achieving their highest possible standard in knowledge, skills, and understanding to become life-long learners and lead fulfilling lives. We aim to link learning with real life, so that the children have relevant first-hand experiences, are engaged in many practical tasks, are involved in the investigation and problem-solving activities, and are given opportunities for creativity and reflection.
Staff will provide positive role models in terms of how we value good manners and behavior and the development of social skills and consideration for others. We aim for a consistent, caring, and organized environment where self-discipline and consideration for others are valued We acknowledge the valuable support that parents give regarding the ethos of the school and recognize that a partnership with parents is paramount to ensure the continuing development of the child.
