Here at Oak Farm Junior School, we are committed to the provision of an ambitious, stimulating, and broad education for our pupils. We encourage a happy, friendly atmosphere in which the children thrive. With an emphasis on every child developing their abilities to the full, we seek to instill a love of learning, a sense of inquiry, and the ability to think for oneself. It is an important aim of ours to support each child in their development of self-esteem, self-confidence, and respect for the needs of others.

We have an enthusiastic, resourceful and dedicated team of staff and governors who care about the needs of every child, seeking to provide the best possible school environment for all our pupils.

We set high expectations and want to give our children every opportunity to become confident and independent learners. We work closely with parents to ensure this happens and recognize the importance of good communication between home and school.

We are fortunate to have our playing field, a playground (comprising three netball courts), an adventure play area, a pond, a garden, and a wildlife area. We aim to help the children to reach their full potential, to develop their social awareness and we encourage every child to take part in a variety of school activities. The school provides an extensive range of extra-curricular activities and we intend to educate the children for life, not only for their school days.

The school and curriculum encourage children to develop, self-respect and to be a model to the school and wider community. Oak Farm Junior School fully recognizes its responsibilities for Child Protection. It also recognizes the importance of ensuring all children, in our care, are kept safe and protected whilst in our school and at other times in their lives.
