We are a large Infant and Nursery School situated in Hayes, Middlesex. We believe all our pupils deserve the opportunity to learn and grow in a stimulating and sparkling environment. We work closely with parents as we know that to enable our children to flourish we need to recognize and build on their home experiences. Our purpose is to provide a safe and happy environment for your child, where they can be themselves and thrive. We are proud to help lay the foundation needed to achieve their goals in life.

All schools have their own special identity and we believe that at Minet Infant and Nursery School we have created a successful and sparkling learning community. We offer a friendly, caring, and supportive environment that encourages our pupils to learn and develop academically, personally, and socially.
We are very proud of our school. The children are enthusiastic learners and we do our very best to make activities engaging, exciting, challenging, and fun! Our children love to learn. Of course, a close, cooperative partnership between home and school is a major contributor to a child’s education and we welcome parents into school and value their contribution. We are very proud of the children who attend Minet Infant and Nursery School and of their amazing achievements.
Each month at Minet, we focus on a different value. These are taken from a set of shared values that help us to work with one another co-operatively and with respect. We learn the importance of friendship and unity, and how to approach life with positivity and hope. These values make our school community happy and harmonious, a fun place, where children feel secure. Our Values are important to all pupils, staff, and parents. Do encourage your child to discuss the value with you and think about how they can show that value at school. Each month a certificate is awarded to the person from each class who has demonstrated the value!
We encourage children to be gentle to one another and keep each other safe. We aim for everyone to be polite, well-mannered, helpful, and to become good citizens. We believe that no one has the right to prevent another child from learning or a teacher from teaching. We aim to give all our children a shared sense of pride in attending Minet Nursery & Infant School and to feel that it is a place where they are safe to learn and play without disruption.
