Deighton Primary School was established on its current site in 1984. It is set in large, LEA-owned grounds and was built around a picturesque courtyard. It was built to accommodate pupils when the old Earl Street site was closed. It is a co-educational and non-denominational primary school. At Deighton, we will involve governors, staff, parents, children, and the whole school community in creating a caring, exciting, and happy school that helps everyone to believe in themselves and achieve their goals.
