From one semester programs that lead to temporary employment to our four-year bachelor degrees, we have programs that fulfill many different people's goals and their life transitions. Sure we keep our tuition rates as low as possible, but we also help you find ways to pay for college. Our financial aid staff is devoted to helping you get the most from available grants, work-study, scholarships, and more.
From our front line staff to the President, we are here for you. We have staff designated to help you through the enrollment process, succeed in your classes, and find your niche outside the classroom. Small class sizes allow you to have our focus and the opportunity to connect more with your instructors and peers. We realize that our students have many obligations in life and work. We offer online learning, varying class times, and multiple start dates.
FGC offers open-access admission, which means we are committed to helping every potential student access our academic programs and services. Applications are accepted year-round, but we recommend you start the process early to ensure you have time to provide all necessary documents so that you can ultimately enroll in the classes you need. We have organized the steps to enrollment based on the type of student you are. Although the enrollment steps vary based on student type, the admissions process is simple for every student.
Our mission is to provide a network of professional academic advisors who support students to establish and realize their personal, academic, and career goals at Florida Gateway College. The primary focus is to assist and guide students, so they are retained at FGC from enrollment through graduation.
Florida Gateway College offers opportunities to be involved in student activities, clubs, and government. Student Activities sponsors career fairs, cultural events, and more! Join us in our spacious Student Center located in building 7, with various recreational equipment, including billiards, ping pong, video games, darts, and more, free for registered students to use.
Stay active. Stay well. FGC offers intramural sports and a fully-equipped fitness center located in the Student Center's rear wing on the first floor. The facilities are available free of charge to our students. We sponsor locally produced plays, choral events, and concerts at the Alphonso Levy Center. The college's FGC Entertainment series brings quality concerts and entertainment acts, featuring well-known artists, to the campus each year. To engage and introduce young students—from grammar school through high school—to college life, we conduct various summer camps. This year, in addition to our always popular STEM Camp, we have even added a Fishing Camp. So, experience FGC beyond the classroom. Get involved. Have some fun. Become a leader.
