Chiswick School is a very special place to learn and we aim to offer all our pupils every opportunity for every success. That success takes real commitment and collaboration between all pupils and staff. At Chiswick School, we know and value the importance of having the right attitude and developing the right learner characteristics that allow all pupils to make progress and succeed in school and life more generally. Success at our school is based on the commitment our staff has for every child’s personal development and growth. We do not believe that intelligence is fixed and we passionately believe that real effort from our learners will lead to real success.
Chiswick School provides a secure and happy environment for positive and exciting learning experiences. We are a vibrant learning community where teachers have very high expectations of all pupils. We have an aspiration and vision for excellence in every lesson and every classroom, every day, across the whole school. We want to see high achievement underpinned by collaboration, commitment, and the building and maintaining of outstanding relationships. We desire that our pupils leave us with both excellent exam results and a passion and thirst for learning and the motivation and independence to make excellent choices for their futures.
Chiswick School pupils will be challenged and engaged by high-quality teaching and excellent delivery of deep and broad subject knowledge. We are determined that all our pupils quickly become active, independent, and resilient learners. It is essential therefore that we take every opportunity to engage and work in partnership with our parents and carers and with a broad range of external groups. All of our pupils will receive the support and encouragement they need to become successful, confident, and mature young people. We have high expectations of the progress our pupils make in their lessons. To ensure this is the case we make sure the curriculum we offer is inclusive and engaging that lessons are challenging for each learner and that feedback from teachers is regular and useful.
We realize that every child possesses a unique set of strengths and developmental needs. We must challenge and support each student, providing opportunities for each individual to follow their personalized path to success.
As a successful 11 - 19 Academy, working in partnership with several teacher training providers, we aim to constantly raise standards through ongoing assessment of the quality of teaching and learning, together with the provision of first-class educational experiences and resources.
