The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) is the first comprehensive, purpose-built, American-style co-educational university in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Our University offers an American-style university education that fosters interaction and collaboration between students, faculty, and the professional community, resulting in a unique educational journey for students, going beyond what’s learned in the classrooms.
AUBH is proud to be accredited by the Higher Education Council of the Ministry of Education of Bahrain and is in the process of applying for U.S. accreditation with the highly respected New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), an independent and self-governing body and one of the seven recognized U.S. regional accreditors by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), holding the highest level of quality assurance at the institutional level. NECHE accredits some of the world’s most prestigious universities including Yale, Harvard, Berkeley, Brown, and Notre Dame.
Thinking holistically to the challenge of global employability readiness, the AUBH curriculum is built by experts and specialists to equip students with the knowledge and soft skills to succeed in a rapidly changing and evolving environment. The AUBH quality of American-style education mirrors that of the best universities in the United States.
