Ottawa Torah Institute / Machon Sarah is an inspected private school under the Ontario Ministry of Education.   • This course enables our students to understand basic concepts in biology, chemistry, earth and space science, and physics and relate science to technology, society, and the environment.
  • Throughout the course, our students will develop their skills in the processes of scientific investigation.
  • Our Students will acquire an understanding of scientific theories and conduct investigations related to sustainable ecosystems, atomic and molecular structures and the properties of elements and compounds, the study of the universe and its properties and components, and electricity principles.

This course emphasizes regular participation in various enjoyable physical activities that promote lifelong healthy, active living. Students will learn movement skills and principles, improve personal fitness and physical competence, and safety and injury prevention. They will investigate health issues and the use and abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. They will participate in activities designed to develop goal-setting, communication, and social skills.

This course emphasizes regular participation in various enjoyable physical activities that promote lifelong healthy, active living. Student learning will include the application of movement principles to refine skills participation in a variety of activities that enhance personal competence, fitness, and health examination of issues related to health, healthy eating, substance use, and abuse and the use of informed decision-making, conflict resolution, and social skills in making personal choices.
