In 1992, GLOBIS started with one marketing course in a small, rented classroom in Tokyo's Shibuya district. Since that founding 25 years ago, GLOBIS has endeavored to uphold its vision of fostering management ecosystems of People, Capital, and Knowledge to bring creative change and innovation to society. We continuously strive to make this vision a reality.
For "People," we nurture and turn out business leaders who carry the torch of creative change and innovation from the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University (MBA program), and the GLOBIS Management School (non-degree). At the same time, we help companies sharpen their management capabilities through GLOBIS Corporate Education (GCE).
For "Capital," GLOBIS Capital Partners (GCP), a hands-on venture capital firm, offers comprehensive management assistance to aspiring start-ups, supporting their growth.
Finally, for "Knowledge," we disseminate management expertise by publishing the GLOBIS MBA series and other management books. Our website GLOBIS Insights is another source of management expertise.
From humble beginnings, GLOBIS has developed into a Graduate School of Management accredited in 2006 by Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology to award MBA degrees. We offer a Full-time English MBA program in Tokyo and a Part-Time MBA program On-campus in Tokyo and Online. Also, we offer a Japanese MBA program across five campuses in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai, and Fukuoka, as well as Online. In 2012, GLOBIS established subsidiaries in China and Singapore, providing global training services for corporate customers. In 2015, we also established a subsidiary in Thailand.
GLOBIS aims to become the No.1 business school in Asia and the No.1 venture capital firm in Asia. To this end, GLOBIS will continue to take the initiative to bring creative change and innovation to society.
