Based upon the solid foundation of outstanding academic achievements and management through years’ efforts by our past and current presidents, teachers, and staff, the strategy of our future development is to reflect the advancement of modern technology, the demand for humanity and life, and various constant changing factors of the teaching environment.
This goal is achieved by designing a curriculum concerning current, national policies on the economy and technology, strengthening academic-industry bonds and technical partnerships, implementing the “theory and practice in equal footing” and importance of “technical integration,” enforcing the required amount of industry experience on all professional CTU teachers and assuring that CTU students develop technical projects that demand industry acknowledgment.
In addition to providing students with necessary engineering and management techniques and professional design and humanities, we also emphasize life and holistic education in order to cultivate our students into modern citizens with social responsibility and morality, to mold them under the spirit of a dynamic, collaborative environment and to guide them toward self-discipline and hard-working nature. All the efforts enable our graduates to possess practical professionalism and creativity, along with personal integrity.
We grasp the pulse of the times, propose a forward-thinking and feasible school development plan, compete for resources and support for all, implement resources in integration for all academic departments, explore research depth and breadth, lead group research, step by step, achieve outstanding excellence in practice and strive for steady progress and development.
Only through campus-wide participation, cooperation, and dedication from teachers, students, and staff can an educational institution make constant progress. Public praise, encouragement, and recognition should be displayed at regularly held activities promoting school reputation and development.
Our actively engaging in domestic, inter-industry exchange will encourage resource sharing, industry-university cooperation, and mutual benefits with win-win situations to improve teaching and research quality. We will also conduct academic exchange with international institutions to strengthen our school’s global recognition and competitiveness with additional international resources.
Through campus-wide IT establishment, internet network, and E-commerce technology, the school administrative system is fully networked.
In addition to remedy counseling, it is most important to carry out preventive and flexible counseling. Our university education is moving towards autonomy and independent development, opening doors to community concerns and services. Following these ideas and student needs, we plan to implement proactive counseling policies and directions for future development.
