Founded in 1993, the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines d'Albi-Carmaux (Mines Albi) is a state-funded higher education institution, placed under the authority of the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
Mines Albi is part of the "Institut Mines-Telecom," the French leader in Education and Research in Engineering, Information Technology and Management and "Toulouse University", founded in 1229 and gathering together about 120 000 students shared across all university fields.
A significant international experience is compulsory for each of our students during their studies, and Mines Albi aims to host about 20% of international students yearly in undergraduate and master courses. These students are admitted as an exchange, graduate, undergraduate, or double diploma students in the framework of the collaboration agreements signed with universities from all over the world or individual procedures.
The international department assists incoming international students during their admission procedure. On arrival, they are welcomed by the staff and the student association "Emac world" that designates volunteer engineering students who will act as a buddy figure, offering support and advice.
Each student is assigned a professor with whom they meet regularly to discuss their progress openly. These discussions allow students to bring up and solve any difficulties they may be facing.
As a student of Mines Albi, you will also be entitled to free classes to learn French throughout the semester, and you will benefit from an international environment.
The school offers numerous different opportunities in several countries for all students. Achieving a significant international experience during undergraduate and graduate studies is compulsory for obtaining the Mines Albi engineering diploma.

Exciting is the double diploma programs, signed with prestigious universities from many countries on all continents. They offer you the possibility to acquire complementary expertise and skills, recognized by a second university diploma delivered abroad. In the framework of these agreements, you have to study successfully for two years at the partner university.

Mines Albi continually develops its bilateral partnerships with universities all over the world. Belonging to "Mines-Télécom," to "Université Toulouse," and membership of structures such as "Campus France," AUF, etc., Mines Albi benefits from the global agreements signed by these establishments, too. In each of these agreements' framework, the students' framework, selection, and admission conditions are well laid out.
Whatever your access way to the training, if you do not have French nationality, you have to contact as soon as possible the French embassy in your country or the Campus France agency that can help you in all your administrative procedures ( information, orientation, registration, Etudes en France process, visa...).
You live in a country that is not under the Etudes en France process or live in France; you will have to apply directly to the school applying online.

The inspirational campus was designed by the famous architect, Martin Robin, renowned for his landmark commissions such as the European Parliament in Strasbourg and the innovative Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. Vast, with state-of-the-art facilities, the campus is set on 22 hectares, with 40,000 m2 of buildings and amphitheaters equipped to regularly welcome congresses and international symposiums.
Students have access to a free laundry service, a cafeteria, and a self-service restaurant offering fresh, quality meals at modest prices (for about € 4).
