The Imam Malik College was established on the beloved land of the Emirates a dream sought by Zayed, carried out by the helping hands of the President and his Crown Prince, and embodied in the personality of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, the Ruler of Dubai.

IMC obtained The license from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in 2008.

The College will continue to implement the programs to establish a postgraduate department containing five programs for the master program, and then the establishment of an Islamic economy and banking department this year, including:

• BA in Islamic Economics
• BA in Islamic Finance and Banking.

The College has a future vision to achieve self-sufficiency by 2020 in the course of its transformation into Imam Malik University, which includes four colleges:

• College of Sharia and Islamic Studies.
• College of Law.
• College of Economics and Islamic Banking.
• College of business

To be a college of advanced studies in Islamic law and legal sciences with a modern vision that considers the contemporary issues and their requirements.

To provide and support Arab and Islamic societies with prominent Sharia and legal experts.
