The Ministry of Higher Education authorizes dental school. The school was established in 2013. The institute is a recently founded developed-at-home dental college propelled to assist the United Arab Emirates (UAE) society with the most unusual nature of dental care facilities and training. This institute provides both undergrad and post-graduate courses. Dubai School of Dental Medicine is a novel tertiary organization succeeding over The Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education - Dubai (BUIDRE) left off, after the BUIDRE and Dubai Healthcare City finished their partnership contract. Dubai School of Dental Medicine is an enterprise of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Academic Medical Center located in Dubai Healthcare City.
