MUIV is a modern and rapidly evolving university with (NUMBER) full-time students and (NUMBER) e-learning students. All MUIV students graduate with a government-certified diploma. The University was established in 1993 and was one of the first private universities in Russia to obtain an official license to conduct educational activities. Over 20 years, it has maintained and developed educational standards of the highest level. Thanks to investment in innovative teaching methods, expansion towards other educational fields, they have elevated their Institute of Economics, Management, and Law to university level. The MUIV (MIEMP) offers courses in economics, Finance, Management, Tourism, Customs studies, Human Resource Management, Advertising and PR, Computer Studies, and Law.
MUIV specializes in providing degrees tailored to student needs: Be it a desire to get work experience while in training, an eagerness to study foreign languages, determination to have a European recognized education, or a necessity to obtain a degree in a limited time the University has a course to suit.
The University provides sandwich degree programs in collaboration with government and business organizations, which offer students placements in banks, investment and insurance companies, etc., during their university courses. Based on their performance, graduates will be considered full-time employment at the organization where they had their placement. Such programs represent an exciting and innovative approach to higher education and professional training.
The University is continually developing international relationships to improve its teaching staff's professional level and the full realization of students' potential. The University promotes student participation in international projects such as ISA (International Public Student Organization) and AIESEC. With the support of the University, students can successfully participate in All-Russian open competitions for the scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation to study abroad. Also, the University has a double degree program in partnership with the University of Finance and Management in Bialystok (Wyższa Szkoła Finansów I Zarządzania w Białymstoku). This program allows students to graduate with Russian and European degrees within four years.
MUIV takes into consideration students' previous qualifications and skills of individuals to allow them to graduate in the shortest time possible. For standard programs, course lengths vary from 4 to 6 years, depending on the specialization. A second degree can be obtained within three years.
The University also provides Undergraduate degrees designed on its highly recognized and recommended e-learning program. This type of study does not require university attendance. All assessments are in the form of online testing or coursework to achieve a degree from anywhere in the world.
