Today The European University is a modern high-educational institution that permanently promotes its educational, staff, and material base. The University provides staff support in the realization in the process of transition of the system.
The students come first at Our University. We are here because of them and their future. We are aware that the best high school students are those who would like to come to better positions and competitive advantage based on knowledge. They are the ones who choose exactly The European University. Our responsibility towards them is significant. We put them in the first place, proving that with enrolling at European University, they have made the right choice. That is also confirmed with our permanent contacts during their studying, but also after graduating. We took care of the rooms that the students are going to study and in which they are going to spend their time while being at The University. The amphitheater, the computing labs, the lecture rooms, and the library are equipped in a modern and functional way, so a comfortable atmosphere and a pleasure are provided during their stay at The University. The teaching process is performed with the highest informational and audio-visual technology, which helps them acquire new knowledge and the teaching staff's work.
The knowledge necessary to be transferred by us requires top-skilled professors, lecturers, and associates, which The University chooses carefully. Also, The University takes care of the professional development and improvement of all employees. The History of The European University –Republic of Macedonia begins with the foundation of The Faculty of Social Sciences in 2001. The activities at The European University were recognized on 01.06.2005 when accredited by The Accreditation Board of the Republic of Macedonia. Based on that, The European University-Republic of Macedonia is the first and only private accredited University in the region that offers a modern education that permanently develops and awards the process of acquiring knowledge according to the modern world educational trends.
The following 2006 is impressive in founding and accreditation (November 2006) of three new faculties: Faculty of Communication and Media, Faculty of Public Administration, and The Faculty of Art and Design. Until then, there were two faculties-The the Faculty of Economic Sciences and The Faculty of Informatics which satisfied the growing needs for modern education in The Republic of Macedonia and the region.
Besides that, the same year (18.05.2006) based on the decision number 12 of The Accreditation of Republic of Macedonia, the adequacy of the programs of The European University according to the European standards of the 3+2 module of studying was confirmed.
At the beginning of 2009, The European University - Republic of Macedonia made an elaborate application of the solutions and the provisions of the new act for high education.
The European University – Republic of Macedonia is established into a University that continuously develops and improves the process of acquiring knowledge and education, creating a very high educative and competitive atmosphere. EUR opts for quality to apply the best practices from the higher education system in its performance. As a result, EURM has become a member of IACBE in 2005, and after fulfilling all necessary conditions, on 04.08.2005, it was granted the status of a candidate for accreditation. Following the IACBE principles, EURM has developed an Outcomes assessment plan as a basis for the evaluation process in the academic year 2006/2007.
The immediate accomplishment of the administrative, organizational, and current activities connected with studying is made through The Student's Affairs Office. The registration and the enrollment of the students are done through this Service, i.e., the documents needed for enrollment are delivered to this Service.
The direction and the control of the regularity, the directness, the technical organization and the regularity of these activities are an immediate obligation of this Service and also other like registering of partial exams, exams, scientific papers, Bachelor of Art Thesis, MA Thesis, and Ph.D. Thesis, registering and regulating terms, acquiring confirmations, certificates and other appropriate documents which are necessary for the students, accomplishment of the communication in order to receive explanations, precise answers and concrete questions and relations. The Service works throughout the whole day, functions according to separate and specific activities, i.e., studying groups, years, and directions, i.e., the cycle of studies and concrete activities (submitting applications, requests, forms for registering exams and documents).
Investing in knowledge is considered to be long-term. The European University, tending to educate students who will be capable of incorporating themselves in all social life structures in the Republic of Macedonia, offers its library, equipment, and other resources. Currently, the University has two wholly equipped libraries.
The libraries are designed as a modern library and informational centers. There is a possibility of merging into a library-information system through the central University library. Providing an automatic catalog and the use of modern Internet technology will enable Internet browsing through the library's data.
