Bangkok University is one of the oldest and most famous private universities in Thailand under the Bangkok University Foundation's patronage. The University has operated since 1962 with A.Surat and A.Pongtip Osatanugrah's resolution to found a non-profit private university as a center of knowledge to develop modern graduates with the knowledge and practical skills to serve the country in the future.
It is fortunate for us to see the founders' vision beautifully bloom and skyrocket high at present. Thousands of graduates from BU have served not only Thailand but also the global community at large. That copiously results from the fact that the University has strived for quality education to empower students in theoretical knowledge and practical work skills. Knowledge is everywhere at BU. Our Southeast Asian Ceramics Museum is one of the creative learning destinations one cannot miss at Rangsit Campus. Visitors will highly appreciate and value ancient wisdom and local craftsmanship from hundreds of priceless ceramic wares found in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Regular exhibitions on Southeast Asian arts and ceramics have also made the Museum worth visiting. Graciously granted the ASA Green Awards in Thailand, the Museum is, in short, perfectly fit for learning and conducting research on Southeast Asian ceramics wares.
The quality of international education at Bangkok University extends beyond degree programs. Besides short and certificate courses on hot issues and international education trips abroad effectively run side by side with our degree programs, centers of Excellence are another critical factor that helps enrich and enhance the quality of education at Bangkok University.
