Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you make in the life of your child. At Heights College, we see education as a real partnership with parents in helping your child develop and maximize their God-given gifts and talents so that as they go out into the world, they are a blessing to themselves, to those around them, and the world at large. We understand that an education that inspires Godly character and leadership is essential to achieving this.
At Heights College, we seek to provide a distinctively Christian education grounded on biblical values and promote a caring, positive, challenging, and engaging learning environment for all students. Our honor, integrity, love, service, and excellence are nurtured in students in all that they do throughout their school journey. The Scriptures say of Jesus' childhood that he "grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man." We likewise emphasize the development of the whole child, intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially.
Heights College is proud of its well-equipped classrooms, technological resources, landscaped grounds, and integrated curriculum across four sub-schools: Kindergarten, Primary, Middle, and Senior.
The College seeks to develop the whole child: physically, spiritually, emotionally, academically, and socially. Successful sporting teams and a vibrant creative arts program are available for students across all sub-schools. Alternative pathways in seniors such as student university partnerships and school-based apprenticeships allow all students to develop their talents and abilities. Our credo, 'For Excellence, For Greatness, For Christ' is consistently applied to all College facets.
On behalf of the Cathedral of Praise Church Board and the Heights College School Board, it is with great expectation and excitement that we present to you a copy of the Heights College Strategic Vision for 2014-2018. As a ministry of the Cathedral of Praise Church, the College is committed to achieving these strategic priorities that intentionally seek to build upon the firm foundations that have been laid by faithful men and women since Heights College was established in 1989. The direction and explicit focus seamlessly align with our College motto 'To the Glory of God'.
