Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a Prep-Year 12 community serving the families of beautiful Noosa and surrounding districts. Drawing on more than 25 years of academic success and Christian care, Good Shepherd offers a comprehensive education that equips students to be compassionate, skilled tomorrow's leaders.
At Good Shepherd, we recognize the potential of your child. Our dedicated and skilled teaching and non-teaching staff work with you to provide an educational experience that will bring out the best in your child. This is only possible when your child is supported and cared for, as they are a part of the Good Shepherd community.
Mission Statement Good Shepherd Lutheran College exists to provide quality Christian education in a caring environment. Our College is part of the ministry of The Lutheran Church in Queensland and has strong ties to the Noosa Lutheran Parish. We wish to show the people of this area a glimpse of God's amazing love for them through it. The Good Shepherd Lutheran Congregation worships each Sunday in its hall, and its Pastor is involved in the school. You are welcome to call on the resources of the congregation at any time.
The Lutheran Church believes that a person is brought into a living relationship with Jesus Christ through faith. The Holy Spirit establishes this grace relationship of love and forgiveness through God's Word. The Lutheran Church is a mainstream Christian Church first established in Northern Europe at the Reformation time in the 16th Century. In Australia, recent discussions have occurred between Lutheran, Anglican, Catholic, and Uniting Churches, the result being significant understanding, some agreement, and inter-denominational cooperation with and between these churches.
