Dubbo Christian School is affiliated with Christian Education National (CEN), an Australia-wide independent Christian school network. Our school was established to provide high-quality schooling, which is Bible-based and christ-centered. We provide professional support to our parent community in their God-given task to instruct their children in all aspects of their lives to become discerning and responsible citizens in both our school and the wider community.
Our school was established in 1983 as a K-6 co-educational Christian school and has since grown to be a pre-kindergarten to Year 12 school of approximately 580 students. Our parent community lives and works in Dubbo and also surrounding towns. We are located on a beautiful campus in Dubbo's major regional city and draw from a wide area in the central west of New South Wales. In 2014 Dubbo Christian School assumed operation of Wellington Christian School, an excellent K-6 school located 30 minutes east of Dubbo in Wellington.

Dubbo Christian School is a dynamic Christian learning community of around 580 students from pre-kindergarten to Year 12. We offer to board at Pumula Lodge for high school students and a full curriculum and senior studies program. We are pleased to offer an excellent schooling experience to the HSC for those desiring Christian schooling who live locally and those in more rural and remote areas.
Established in 1983, the school multiplied, particularly after moving to its current site in 1987, where we now enjoy modern facilities in a well-established and beautiful setting. The recent purchase of adjoining land will allow us to meet our strategic master planning goals for further expansion, and we are excited about what God is doing here at DCS. In 2014, we took over the operation of Wellington Christian School. In its fourth year of operation under DCS auspices, it is a wonderfully vibrant, growing school community offering Christ-centred schooling to Wellington and the district.
We talk a lot about the culture at Dubbo Christian School. We are blessed with a positive, caring, and loving school culture that flows out of our commitment to Christ. We care about each student because we see them as unique and lovingly made in the image of God. Each has a plan and purpose, and we commit to partnering with parents to prepare them for their life after school in terms of academic preparation and whole of life preparation through service, faith, and character.
