We are among the most extensive education, training, and apprenticeship providers in the region, with around 9,000 students - 3,000 of whom are full-time.
We also work with more than 1,000 local businesses, which helps shape our curriculum and provide fantastic work experience opportunities. This means you will have the skills, confidence, and experience you will need to walk into your career of choice when you have finished studying with us.
The College is based on three sites, with its main campus in Lincoln City Centre and further campuses at Newark and Gainsborough.
Lincoln College International runs a highly successful female college and Riyadh Technical Trainers College in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is also partnered with the Sichuan College of Architectural Technology (SCAT) and runs accountancy courses Chengdu Polytechnic in China.
Today Lincoln College is more than just a further education institute serving the local community of Lincoln.
Operating in numerous buildings over multiple sites across county borders and internationally, the College had grown beyond all expectations from when it first opened its doors on 27 September 1886.
Based on Monks Road, our city-center location gives you excellent transport links, easy access to high street shopping, and great places to eat, drink and socialize.
We have invested heavily in recent years to provide a light, modern, exciting environment to study and relax. Our spacious and well-equipped campus is designed to provide a safe, healthy, and vibrant environment so you can focus on your work and have fun, fit, and socialize in downtime.
When you walk on to Lincoln College campus, you will be blown away by the fantastic environment we have created and glad that you turned your back on dusty secondary schools and sixth forms.
Here you will be working in light, airy learning spaces with the latest technology.
You will be training in workshops with the latest industry-standard technology, and you'll have time and space for independent study - away from your lecturers.
We also understand that to concentrate; you need to relax unwind and have some fun too.
At our Lincoln campus, you have the incredible advantage of a state-of-the-art gym with 40 training stations, climbing walls, squash and badminton courts, basketball courts, five-a-side football pitches, and an outdoor gym with training track.
If you need to unwind, there is no better place to do it than our luxury spa with spa pool, steam rooms, ice bath, and massage service.
Moreover, if you need to spruce up for the weekend, you can pop into our hair and beauty salon.
Our refectories serve great hot and cold food options, and we even have our high-end restaurant where all of the food is prepared and served by our catering and hospitality students.
Our Library offers a wide range of facilities, resources, and services to support your independent learning and study skills.
There are individual, group, and quiet study areas with PCs, laptops, and Wi-Fi.
The Library resources are arranged in subject-specific zones with over 35,000 books, periodicals, DVDs, and CDs. The Library Moodle pages provide on-campus access to quality recommended e-Resources, including eBooks, eJournals, and databases.
Our qualified and experienced staff are on hand to help you find resources and information for your studies our Learning Advisers offer study skills workshops, including referencing and locating resources to support assignments.
