At the beginning of each semester, our office hosts many new student orientation activities designed to help introduce you to the services and people available to help you as you experience life at MSUM. Please take advantage of our International Student Orientation as it will help you adjust more quickly. International Student Services also hosts many events throughout the academic year. International Student Services offers many programs throughout the year for students and the Fargo-Moorhead area community. The student organization, International Student Organization (ISO), creates a supportive environment for MSUM students and promotes campus diversity.

Start the financial aid process by first completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is used to determine eligibility for federal, state, and institutional financial aid funds.
The financial aid estimator will help you estimate your eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant, Minnesota State Grant, and federal education tax benefits. The estimator is based on the federal calculation of your Estimated Family Contribution and the tuition and fees for the Minnesota institution you select.
