To distinguish the College as the premier institution for students who learn differently, we plan to evolve in a disciplined but entrepreneurial way in response to changing our students' LD education needs, societal needs and opportunities, and career aspirations. The College aims to be identified as a leader in the post-secondary LD education field and engage in collaborative and strategic alliances to ensure our position as enduring pioneers. We are resolute in our commitment to embracing emerging, alternative technologies and learning environments that are changing the higher education industry today, in a way that best serves our LD-based systems and students. An overall environment optimized for student learning and living success, which provides strategies, tools, and confidence for wellness and life-long competencies, remains a critically important element contributing to the genius loci of our campus. Everything we do now and plan to do in the future is built on the understanding that student access to our programs is imperative—and directly linked to the financial strength and institutional sustainability.
Institutional effectiveness is the extent to which an institution fulfills its mission. Landmark College examines institutional effectiveness regularly to ensure continuous quality improvement in all areas related to serving students and other core activities central to the College's mission. Institutional effectiveness at Landmark College is demonstrated through four critical processes: assessment, institutional research, accreditation, and strategic planning.
Although LC is a smaller college (we like the term optimally sized), we provide students and their families with a heavily-resourced model with many choices. We have intentionally engineered "on-ramps and off-ramps" for our degrees and programs. For example, at LC, some students want and need our model for a Bridge Semester, which could be for one or two semesters. Others may find the associate degree programs best-suited for their college and career goals and objectives while others target our baccalaureate programs. LC is, simultaneously, a "four-year" college, a "two-year" college, and a "transition program" college—and therefore, we are an increasingly comprehensive college that offers many paths to college credit, to competencies and capabilities, to credentials and success.
Landmark College was the first institution of higher learning to pioneer college-level studies for students with dyslexia. Today, LC is a global leader in integrated teaching methods for students who learn differently, including students with learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
The Landmark College Financial Aid Office understands that reaching one's education goal is both a personal and financial decision. There is a great deal of responsibility involved in pursuing a college degree. Both prospective and currently enrolled students require a commitment and sensitivity to their personal and financial needs. At Landmark College, we make every effort to assist qualified students in finding the financial resources necessary to cover a college education cost.
Landmark College's degrees set high standards for academic performance. Degrees at the associate and bachelor level allow students to choose from a range of study programs, including natural and computer science, business, art, and liberal studies. Distinctive among all programs emphasize the development of metacognition, self-advocacy skills, and individual strategies for learning.

With a focus on boosting learning strategies, academic skills, and self-reflection, students can improve their academic approach to College. At Landmark College, we believe Study Abroad is one of the most rewarding and life-changing experiences students can have during their college years. Our programs are led by Landmark faculty and designed with careful attention to the structure of program itineraries, a focus on student support, and an emphasis on safety.
