The assessors, who inspected the educational results for every University in England, found that Worcester "delivers high-quality teaching, learning and outcomes for its students" and "consistently exceeds rigorous national quality requirements for UK higher education." The panel noted that we excel at teaching, which encourages high levels of student engagement and commitment to learning and study, including "excellent levels" of contact time and schemes that involve students in the process of enhancing their own learning experience.
E offers a truly innovative and effective 'earn as you learn' scheme, which provides our students with invaluable work experience, career development, and earning opportunities. Worcester graduates are consistently among the most employable in the country, with over 94.9% in work or continuing to study within six months of graduating. The culture and outlook of the University mean we listen very carefully to what students say about their studies and university life generally. In its most recent report into the quality of our teaching, the Quality Assurance Agency praised us for our' continuous and systematic improvement of the student experience' and identified our approach to quality enhancement to be a critical factor in our good practice. Professor David Green, the University's Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive, said: "In recent years the University of Worcester has consolidated its excellent national reputation for academic quality on our biggest programs, which educate future teachers, nurses, and midwives. This independent audit report studied the university's entire work at every level and across the range."
