Based in Ugeo Dong in South Korea, the University of Ulsan has 15,000 students enrolled across their six graduate schools and nine colleges. The University's student to staff ratio is 13.6. The University of Ulsan is the 57th best University in Asia and ranks among the top 90 universities under 50 years of age. It is also incredibly competitive in several fields, such as medicine and the life sciences, as indicated by its performance in the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
Thus, the Hyundai Conglomerate announced its plan to give 40 billion won to assist various university-industry cooperation projects.

UOU provides international students with comfortable housing at a reasonable price. There are four dorms available for international students, two male, and two female dorms.
Students are recommended to stay in an on-campus dorm; some may wish to stay off-campus. Many one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, as well as studios, can be rented around the campus.
