    St. Luke's College of Medicine - William H. Quasha Memorial (SLCM-WHQM) is one of the Philippines' 44 medical schools. Established in 1994 as the medical school of the St. Luke's Medical Center (est. 1903), it offers a 5-year curriculum leading to Doctor of Medicine (MD), assuring a one-year internship program at the Medical Center. The Commission duly accredits SLCM-WHQM on Higher Education.
    St. Luke's College of Medicine will be a recognized leader in innovative medical education by 2020. St. Luke's College of Medicine is committed to providing education to the best and the brightest students through innovation in its academic and scholarship programs, producing graduates who are primed towards specialization and the pursuit of excellent healthcare, utilizing research and world-class technology. The 14-storey College of Medicine building, completed in June 1997, has air-conditioned classrooms and conference/lecture halls with audio-visual devices. The College has five basic science laboratories, a Skills-Training Laboratory, Behavioral Science Laboratory, and a mock Operating Room. The Library has been designed to nurture a person's inclination to learn as comfortable as possible. It has a computer section complete with internet facilities aside from the WiFi access available in the Library. At the Penthouse is an Auditorium that serves as a venue for large student and faculty conferences and activities of the College as well as events of the Medical Center. Three elevators ease access to all floor levels.
    St Luke's Medical Center (SLMC) is the base hospital for the College. SLMC is the first hospital in the Philippines and second in Asia that is accredited by the Joint Commission for International Accreditation (JCIA), the foreign arm for the USA's Joint Commission for Accreditation of Hospital Organizations (JCAHO). The St. Luke's Medical Center is an international affiliate of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University, and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, all in the USA.St. Luke's College of Medicine and the St. Luke's Medical Center have been host to several medical students from the University of Hawaii and the University of Alberta in Canada. They opted to have their electives rotation with the College and the Medical Center.
    SLCM follows the integrated basic and clinical sciences curriculum spread over a 5-year course. Medical Clerkship and Internship programs are provided at the St. Luke's Medical Center with affiliations in local specialty hospitals to expose students to a wide variety of patients and clinical facilities. In the Community Medicine program, students have the opportunity to rotate in various identified Community Medicine centers in our vicinity.
    St. Luke's College of Medicine- William H. Quasha Memorial (SLCM-WHQM) is the St. Luke's Medical Center's medical school, the first JCIA accredited hospital in the country. SLCM is interested in identifying applicants for a Doctor of Medicine degree who aims for academic excellence with compassion, integrity, and commitment.     Both SLMC and SLCM have embarked on a robust scholarship program. A full scholarship may be awarded to bachelor degree holders who graduated with Latin honors from colleges/universities in the Philippines with NMAT ratings of 90% and above. This scholarship covers tuition, laboratory, and miscellaneous fees and books. The St. Luke's Medical Center, together with and in support of the St. Luke's College of Medicine, has embarked on an unprecedented feat of generosity by granting full scholarships to the best and the brightest graduates of leading Colleges/Universities of the land. It is the ultimate hope of this endeavor that the best medical school in the Philippines, and St. Luke's Medical Center, a state-of-art and first JCIA-accredited Medical Center in the Philippines, can educate and train intellectually gifted individuals who aim for academic excellence with integrity and commitment and who genuinely desire to become part of the competent and compassionate healing professionals.
    A full scholarship may be awarded to bachelor degree holders who graduated with Latin honors from colleges/universities in the Philippines with NMAT ratings of 90% and above. This scholarship covers tuition, laboratory and miscellaneous fees, and electronic books subscription.
    A student promoted to the next year level may obtain/maintain a full scholarship provided that the GWA of the previous year is 85% or higher, with no grade lower than 80%. No other medical school offers a generous scholarship package of free tuition, free miscellaneous fees, and free electronic books to worthy students.
    Medical students from schools outside of the Philippines interested in doing clinical observership may do so in St. Luke's College of Medicine- William H. Quasha Memorial (SLCM-WHQM). Together with the Research and Biotechnology Division of St. Luke's Medical Center, St. Luke's College of Medicine offers the MS in Molecular Medicine program.
