The WWU Münster organizes outstanding academic junior researchers' promotion in graduate schools that provide structured doctoral courses. It also supports the setting up of groups of young researchers and the creation of junior professorships to strengthen the links between postgraduate education and research.
WWU Münster considers gender equality to be a task of strategic importance. The aim is to make it easier for women to combine an academic career and family interests. The University of Münster is proud to have ten winners of the renowned Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize teaching and researching at the university, four of whom work at the Mathematical Institute.
