SIGMA Clermont considers every application individually and makes the admission decision based on the fully completed application form and enclosures. If you fulfill the requirements set by SIGMA Clermont, the International Office will send you a confirmation of acceptance by e-mail.
Within the framework of our agreements with over 90 universities worldwide, you can join us for between one and four semesters for exchange studies and credit-awarded work. European students can integrate SIGMA via the Erasmus+ program, too. All classes are given in French.

SIGMA Clermont provides different levels of French as Foreign Language (FLE) classes for international students. This language course will be awarded 4 ECTS credits. We strongly recommend participating in this course, even if you already have some knowledge of French. Degree students will take DELF or DALF certification at the end of their course.
Since its creation in 1908, the National School of Chemistry of Clermont-Ferrand (ENSCCF) has gone through several mutations, especially with the merger SIGMA ENSCCF. It has been able to adapt to the changes in each era and the industry's needs.
The ENSCCF is a Public Administrative Establishment (EPA) under Article 719-10 of the Education Code (referred to as ex-Article 43), attached by convention to Clermont 2 University, under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. National Education of Higher Education and Research.
Founding members of PRES Clermont University in 2008, ENSCCF and IFMA contributed to the establishment of territorial coordination "University Clermont Auvergne and Associates" in 2015. It is still the ENSCCF and the IFMA which, in 2013, opened the AGERA in the Auvergne territory (Alliance des Grandes Ecoles of Rhône-Alpes and Auvergne).
