- Founded in the early 1990s, the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ) is now the largest center for higher education, research, and technology in the area. UVSQ spans five campuses in the Yvelines department and has a student body of 20,000 enrolled in over 200 programs in all subjects. A school of engineering, two university institutes of technology, a teacher training college, and more recently, an institute of political studies complement the range of study options, offering bachelor to doctorate level instruction. The quality of UVSQ's undergraduate and graduate programs (Master's programs, doctorates, post-doctoral fellowships) is backed by the effective research programs conducted in UVSQ research centers and laboratories. As a founding member of the Université Paris-Saclay and 17 other higher education and research institutions in the region, UVSQ offers a range of Master's degree programs backed by research of the highest international caliber and enhanced by pooled resources and the combined attractiveness of all the partners. Since 2007, Campus France centers are the one-stop-shop for all students seeking to study in France. If there is a Campus France office in your country, you must follow the CEF procedure and submit your application online. This procedure is compulsory for obtaining your visa from the Embassy. Universities will automatically reject any application submitted outside the CEF procedure. USVQ campuses are located in an exceptional natural, historical and cultural settings close to Paris.
