      1. The Trossingen University of Music enjoys an international reputation shown through many different international partnerships; it has developed. The broad international environment provides a lively network of artistic activities and music pedagogical experiences. The courses offered here distinguish themselves through their emphasis on practical experiences and unique possibilities. The project "Klassenmusizieren "has been created in cooperation with different schools and the Villingen Schwenningen Music academy. The Trossingen University of Music undertakes many outstanding musical activities. These range from contemporary chamber music to large concerts with choirs, orchestras, and music and motion theatre productions. As a result, our Bodensee region activities are a significant part of the entire region's cultural identity. Through partnerships with the "Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspielen "and the "Südwestdeutschen Philharmonie Konstanz, "the Trossingen University of Music offers to its student's additional concert opportunities. The study options are enhanced by international projects, courses, workshops, and scientific symposia. These significantly enhance both the 'Rhythmics' and Early Music departments. These projects are meant for students and people who already finished their studies – lifelong learning (LLL) is becoming more and more critical. In partnership with the IM of the Frankfurt School of Music and the SWR, the Trossingen School of Music offers the highly esteemed "OFF-Program "for all students of composition in Germany of the Donaueschinger Musiktage. This course is only eligible for students who have finished a performance degree and passed the entrance exam held before a jury of Trossingen University of Music professors. The postgraduate performance program is restricted to exceptionally talented students. The program emphasizes repertoire studies, preparing students for entering into the performing concert life and participating in competitions. Next to concentrating on the chosen significant subject, and increased ability to work independently is expected from students. Trossingen lies near the Black Forest in southwest Germany.
