Whose values are built on mutual trust and respect for all? The school’s behavior policy is therefore designed to support how all members of the school can work together in a supportive way. The school expects everybody to behave in a considerate and respectful way towards others. We treat all children fairly and consistently apply this behavior police. This policy aims to help children grow in a safe environment and to become positive, responsible, and independent. The school recognizes and promotes good behavior, as it believes that this will develop an ethos of kindness and cooperation. This policy is designed to encourage good behavior, rather than merely deter anti-social behavior. The Foundation Phase curriculum is planned as a progressive framework that spans four years (3 to 7 years) to meet the diverse needs of all children, including those who are at an earlier stage of development and those who are more able. Children learn through first-hand experiential activities. Through their play, children practice and consolidate their learning, play with ideas, experiment, take risks, solve problems, and make decisions individually, in small and in large groups. First-hand experiences allow children to develop an understanding of themselves and the world in which they live. View full school
