Ysgol Bro Teifi offers first-class learning facilities for all pupils, from the youngest to the oldest. This is the first purpose-built Welsh-medium all-through school built in Wales, following an investment of £25m from Ceredigion County Council and the Assembly Government. Throughout your child’s journey through education, from home to nursery, nursery to the Foundation Phase, and onwards until the end of the secondary phase, we will offer your child the best experiences, care and support possible to ensure that all our pupils reach their potential. As a staff, we regard it an honor to have been able to innovate educationally here at Bro Teifi, with a provision that provides our pupils with continuity and progression under the same roof. The provision offered to our pupils will be firmly based on the following founding principles: Ensure excellent standards of teaching and learning to develop the full potential of each pupil and prepare them to become lifelong learners. Support all pupils to develop effective literacy, numeracy, and digital competence to gain access to all curriculum subjects. Develop an educational climate where staff and pupils are eager to innovate and where challenges are viewed as opportunities to learn and develop. Develop an awareness and pride in the languages, culture, traditions, and heritage of Wales among our pupils that will be the foundation to expand their horizons, knowledge, and awareness of Wales’ relationship with Europe and the world. Develop a successful relationship between the school, parents, and Bro Teifi’s wider community to support pupils’ learning.
