Stockton University's Galloway, N.J. campus in the Pinelands National Reserve is reminiscent of one of America's beautiful national parks. Since the mid-1970s, well over 900 Stockton students have completed para-professional internships in Washington, DC. One of the largest groups of Washington Center alumni is from Stockton University. It is widespread to find Stockton alumni – in the Washington, DC metropolitan region – who trace the trajectory of their career paths to their internships as Stockton undergraduates. The Washington Internship program is an intensive para-professional and academic experience in which Stockton students live, work, and study in the Washington, DC metropolitan region. Stockton University is affiliated with the nation's largest internship organization, The Washington Center. This organization provides all the significant facets of a student's internship experience, i.e., facilitating the application process, distributing the application to potential placement sites providing program activities, advising, supervision, and evaluation is hiring faculty for the evening classes providing housing and residence life activities. The Office of E-Learning provides leadership in developing and delivering technology-enhanced instruction by supporting faculty in designing environments for multiple instructional methods (online, hybrid, and face-to-face). We serve as a conduit for innovation in emerging instructional technologies, provide faculty opportunities to share pedagogical and technical resources, and encourage thoughtful reflection as they explore instructional tools for teaching in a digital age. Our school is located on a large attractive site with lots of green space which supports outdoor learning and our school building provides us with excellent facilities including generous ICT and library facilities which support life long learning and a ‘Space for Sports and Arts’ for school and community use. We have a truly excellent learning environment for the children. We strive to raise aspirations, develop talents, and ensure that all children receive a rich, broad, and balanced curriculum. We promote ‘Adventurous Learning’ by working in partnership with services across the City – Libraries, Museums, Galleries, and Leisure Services We value achievement and attainment. In recognition of this, we have been awarded the Basic Skills Award. We have also been awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark, the Healthy Schools Award, the Active Mark for exceptional delivery of the National Sports Strategy, and the CITB Gold Award for developing pupils’ economic awareness. Most recently we were very proud to have also been awarded the Gold Awards for the Liverpool Reading Quality Mark and the Liverpool Counts Numeracy for Life Quality Mark. We are currently preparing for the Arts Mark too. Such awards reflect our aspiration, how hard everyone in our school community works together and the value we place upon the support we receive from our families. We are committed to keeping children safe. We provide a safe environment in school for the children and promote good behavior. The curriculum includes materials and activities designed to help children to develop self-confidence, healthy attitudes, and personal safety. At Stockton Wood Primary School, we use the National Curriculum, Liverpool School Improvement Plans, and Talk for Writing as tools to support the planning and delivery of the English Curriculum. We are extremely proud of our Reading Quality Mark, recognizing our commitment to excellent practice and provision for our children. At Stockton Wood Primary School, we use the National Curriculum and Liverpool School Improvement Plans to support the planning and delivery of the Mathematics Curriculum. We are extremely proud of our Liverpool Counts Quality Mark, recognizing our commitment to excellent practice and provision for our children. PE Curriculum indicates the sport and skills the children will be developing each term. In addition to this, the children take part in weekly Fitness and Agility sessions. We currently hold the School Games Quality Mark at silver standard affirming our commitment to provide quality PE for all children and a broad experience of sports and competitive activities.
