Kanazawa Seiryo University is a private university in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, located in the Hokuriku region of Japan. Formerly known as Kanazawa College of Economics (a college with only the Faculty of Economics), it was founded in 1967 by Inaoki Educational Institution. The name was changed to Kanazawa Seiryo University in 2002, and the graduate school was established the same year. With the creation of the Faculty of Human Sciences in 2007 and the Faculty of Humanities in 2016, Kanazawa Seiryo University is now a university with a Faculty of Economics, a Faculty of Human Sciences, a Faculty of Humanities, a graduate school. Kanazawa Seiryo University has been making steady steps forward as one of the top universities in the Hokuriku region specializing in humanity. The wide variety of activities available both in and outside the university include study and academic research seminars throughout students' four years at Seiryo University. Seiryo University offers long- and short-term overseas study programs, language training, and overseas internship programs that provide students with excellent opportunities to expand their knowledge and experience. We also have international exchange study programs for overseas students. Through these seminars and overseas education programs, students achieve outstanding results that allow them to find meaningful employment further or move up to graduate school to improve themselves and their future further. We have focused on enhancing this innovative system of "Student-teacher - administrative staff" cooperation, and we continue improving to give our students the best chance to realize their potential. The most crucial point is that our system is enhanced by sharing and creating a shared awareness among faculties, departments, schools, and communities. We also emphasize liaison and cooperation beyond national borders and attempt new cooperative combinations by fostering this everyday awareness. Kanazawa Seiryo University currently has around 2,430 undergraduate students and 27 graduate students. This includes 19 international students. In 50 years since its founding, Kanazawa Seiryo University has become rooted in the Hokuriku region and grown tremendously, with roughly 19,000 students have graduated from the university already.
