Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University (NRRU) is a sizeable government-funded university providing a broad range of Higher Education and training services in Thailand's lower Northeastern region. The university mission is to provide Higher Education, professional training centers, teaching and research plus academic services to the community, as well as seeking to improve, transfer and develop knowledge in the fields of technology, art, and cultural resource conservation and to produce a high standard of qualified teachers and educational staff. NRRU was initially founded in 1913 as a teacher training school, commonly known as Krumoon Unsung. It then gradually progressed to become Nakhon Ratchasima Teachers' College before finally being conferred from an "Institute" to a "University" on 15 June 2004. NRRUhas a long and rich history. It was formerly recognized as a high-quality teachers' college, which later extended into other fields and disciplines. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs and provides various kinds of support for university staff. NRRU is now confident in moving further and offering not just Master's Programs but also Doctoral Programs. NRRU is an academic resource that aims to produce good citizens, maintain morality, and be a society leader. NRRU is a center of academic knowledge for local community development research. Its vision is to serve as a local information center that aims to develop human resources quality and strengthen society sustainably and effectively. Mission: To produce knowledgeable students with high ethical standards, who are aware of their national identity and appreciate their local community To produce and develop a high standard of qualified professional teachers and educational staff. To create a body of knowledge and to research and develop technological inventions using both Thai wisdom and international knowledge. Our goal is to be a public University that emphasizes graduates and local community development research quality. Its standard is acknowledged in Thailand and International Countries. Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University provides computers and networking support at both the Computer Center, located on the 2nd floor, and Computer Labs, located on the 3rd floor, of Building number 27. Classrooms are provided for teaching. Information retrieval and internet services are provided for students as well as for faculty and administrative officers. We have a Language Institute's mission to develop language knowledge and skills for students, staff, and any interested person. The center provides language courses in languages such as English, French, Chinese, and Japanese. The courses are offered by native speakers and qualified teachers at different levels of proficiency. The center also provides academic services through various courses, including English for Job Application, TOEIC and TOEFL Preparation, Teacher Training, Academic English Camp, TKT Preparation, Language Improvement for Teachers, English for Communication, English for Teachers, and Administrators. Our Art and Culture Center is a resource for local Art and Culture research. The objective of the center is to preserve and promote Korat cultural identities. It also aims to create networks in art and culture and facilitate local wisdom collaborations. The Special Education Center offers educational opportunities to students with special needs and also enhances their development. The center provides services for preparing these children in terms of social and study skills to get them ready to study at the elementary level. The center also provides advice for parents, educators, and those involved with these special needs children to expand social opportunities for these children. The university also has students with disabilities, such as hearing and sight-impaired students, studying with other students.
