  1. The SRH Start-up Lab of the Berlin SRH universities is an area to meet up, exchange ideas, experiment, work, study, relax, and party. It supports our students in developing their entrepreneurial personalities. It is equipped with workstations, whiteboards and wifi and is open to our hdpk students and to all students of design akademie berlin - SRH Hochschule für Kommunikation & Design, to Berlin and Dresden students of SRH Hochschule Berlin. Aside from talks, workshops, meetups, and other events, the lab offers advice on all the company founding process stages. From 19 January on, we are pleased that we can further support our students in finding their entrepreneurial future! The hdpk library is the scientific lending library for students and staff at the SRH Hochschule der populären Künste (hdpk). Its collection is orientated towards the reading requirements of courses offered by the HDPE and features textbooks, specialist literature, sheet music, periodicals, magazines, CDs, and DVDs. There is a specialized collection in the field of popular music. The library also holds student dissertations and artistic and musical productions. The HDPE library offers a support program for students to help them find their way within the information jungle while researching for their course-work or dissertations. These workshops are open to all HDPE students and can be seen as supplementary to the University's lectures and seminars. We are also always happy to provide individual advice. The Student Parliament (StuPa) serves to provide a voice for HDPE students about University affairs. It comprises course representatives from each semester of each course and all those who, alongside their studies, want to get involved with how the University is run – and contribute to the benefit of all. We function as a link between the University management and the student body, discussing problems, concerns, and requests for changes in regular meetings and then submitting them to the appropriate department to work constructively towards a positive solution. The Student Parliament works to serve all students' needs to achieve this; it relies on students' creativity and constant feedback. For example, at University events, the StuBar provides drinks for participants. One of the StuPa's projects groups plans and organizes the First Semester party, where new faces at the University are made to feel at home. At the HDPE, the Student Secretariat and the Campus Service Centre work closely together. For your initial queries, all questions relating to records and proofs of performance and the submission of applications and certificates, please come to the Student Secretariat. The Campus Service Centre will assist you with questions about course fees and provide advice about administrative matters. They will also be happy to help with certificates, applications, and other issues relating to certification. Berlin is highly attractive for creative minds and has more than 160,000 students. The housing market offers a wide range of situations, and the Berlin StudierendenWERK (office of student activities) can support in finding rooms in special student Dormitories. No matter what you are looking for, a shared flat or your own four walls, Berlin's accommodations are affordable (compared to other metropolitan regions). Many of our students use Internet platforms for finding rooms. Asking your fellow students may still be one of the best strategies. The student office and Campus Service work closely together. The Student office will gladly support you with all your initial queries concerning your performance records, submission of applications, and certificates.
  2. UPAEP was born in 1973 as a project of Puebla's society. It was first led by a group of young people who decided to make a difference and undertake a new project that could favor freedom and university autonomy. This project has crystallized as an institution committed to the search and dissemination of the truth since it wants to be congruent with Christian humanism. Thus, today, as yesterday, we are committed to educating professionals who could be a factor of change and transformation to achieve the construction of the Common Good. Our university has understood since its foundation that in order to fulfill its mission, it is indispensable to develop an integrated educational model that is focused on the person, built on academic excellence, and permanently linked to the social issue. Thus, 96% of the enrollment in an undergraduate academic degree takes accredited programs of high quality. An Academic Council that ensures the programs' relevance with the environment's challenges and opportunities checks each program. Currently, all of UPAEP's undergraduate academic programs count on an entrepreneurial line. Our students can start to solidify their entrepreneurial project, either social or particular, to their profession. This project is shaped and strengthened at the university's incubator company called UNINCUBE. Our project's integrity is also enhanced through the multiple sportive and cultural activities as well as through the leadership and service, which are UPAEP's most essential features. In UPAEP, we consider that the Postgraduate programs and the Research projects are essential to contribute to the Innovation that requires a severe university proposal, which may generate concrete ideas and solutions to promote the societies' integral development. Thus, our university offers a wide range of flexible and interdisciplinary postgraduate courses in all modalities (face-to-face, online, open), which have led UPAEP to occupy a privileged place in the country: today, more than one out of every hundred students, who have studied or are studying postgraduate studies in Mexico, study at UPAEP. Our world requires university students who may act at a local level with a global perspective. UPAEP has been a pioneer in the internationalization of its university community through an intercultural vision that involves the appreciation of the national culture to share it and enrich it with other cultures. To fulfill this objective, UPAEP offers today several programs that promote student's mobility in different teaching and research programs, as well as in professional internships abroad, in addition to 84 double-degree programs at prestigious universities around the world. Finally, it is essential to highlight that the humanistic vocation UPAEP is based on seeks the person's reassessment as an individual who assumes his/her extraordinary dignity and exercises it in his/her relationship with his/her neighbor in order to create a community. Thus, he/she could find a sense of life, seeking transcendence. This is why UPAEP calls on everyone who feels challenged by this proposal to adopt what we know in UPAEP as the 'Eagle spirit,' and to make our institutional mission alive: "Create currents of thought and train leaders who transform the society in search of the Truth by integrating the faith, science, and life."
