    NaAscoil Ade

Naíscoil Íde is an infant school catering to the educational needs of children in the catchment area of Raheny. The school is under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin and there is currently a staff of twenty-eight people employed in the school. The school caters to a wide range of pupils from different backgrounds and of different abilities. The school is in the heart of the dynamic community of Raheny and has been at its current location since 1958. The majority of pupils, upon completing the first class in Naíscoil Íde, transfer to either Scoil Áine Girls National School or Scoil Assaim Boys National School which are located on the school campus. It is our privilege to maintain the tradition of care, inclusiveness, and commitment for the benefit of children, their parents, and families. Naíscoil Íde is an Infant primary school providing primary education to pupils from Junior Infants to First Class. By the requirements of the Children First Act 2015, Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children 2017, the Child Protection Procedures for Primary and Post Primary Schools 2017, and Tusla Guidance on the preparation of Child Safeguarding Statements, the Board of Management of Naíscoil Íde has agreed the Child Safeguarding Statement set out in this document. The Board of Management of Naíscoil Íde (the “Board”) hereby sets out its Enrolment and Admission Policy by the provisions of the Education Act 1998 and following guidance from our patron, the Archbishop of Dublin and the Board trusts that by so doing, parents will be assisted about enrolment matters. Naíscoil Íde is a co-ed Infant School committed to the highest standard of care and education for pupils ranging in ages from 4 – 7 years. The school endeavors to provide a positive and caring environment, where good personal relationships and mutual respect are the cornerstones. This will be achieved in a way that celebrates the school as a place that is dedicated to quality teaching and learning and that is supportive of the well-being of all who form part of the school community. To achieve these aims the Board of Management, staff, and parents have developed an agreed Code of Behaviour.
