Mulgrave School - The International School of Vancouver - is a gender-inclusive, secular IB World School. As an independent day school with a reputation for academic excellence and providing a broad, holistic education, we offer the International Baccalaureate curriculum to students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 in a spectacular West Vancouver setting. Inspired and effective student learning is central to our mission and sits at the heart of our strategic planning and educational and operational decision making. Learning is the transformative process in which conceptual understanding, personal development, skill enhancement, and knowledge acquisition combine to help learners construct meaning. In Junior School, our primary teachers' warmth and positive energy infuse their classrooms are palpable. As students move into Senior School, we strive to grow creative, critical, and independent thinkers with the flexibility of thought best suited to the changing world that they will inhabit and change for the better as young adults. Thus, in addition to our energetic focus on academic attainment and very successful university placement, our education is equally attentive to the development of the whole person beyond the institutional worlds of school, university, and work.
