Liepaja University, founded in 1954, is an accredited state higher educational establishment, which implements study programs at all three study levels: necessary studies, Master and Doctorate studies. Further education goal of Liepaja University in adult education, participation in the adult education system development, and improvement of lifelong education policy. Liepaja University is a symbol of education, science, and the Liepaja and Kurzeme region culture that provides competitive, internationally recognized varied education. The LiepU develops innovative research and ensures social development sustainability and economic knowledge development in Latvia as a lawful partner in the European Union. LiepU offers different self-development courses to the people from Liepāja and the district for learning foreign languages, courses in music, psychology, information technologies, art, and in other fields.
