Kells Grade 12 is an opportunity for students to partake in a program that provides a tutorial approach in a classroom setting. Students benefit from a high level of personal attention that ensures student success. A virtual platform allows students to access course content, lesson materials, assignments, and online tutoring. Our pre-university program prepares students for admission to the top universities. Upon successful completion, students will receive the Ontario Secondary Schools Diploma (OSSD) and be eligible to apply to all universities across North America, including Quebec and Europe. Kells Academy's two campuses are just four small blocks apart, situated in the borough of Notre-Dame-de-Grace, a safe, residential neighborhood in Montreal's west end. Its wide, tree-lined avenues and numerous parks, libraries, and sports center make it an ideal location for our school, and one quickly reached from so many parts of Montreal. Campuses are easily accessed by car and public transportation, with convenient bus, metro, and suburban train connections. Private bus service is also available for students residing in Montreal West, Notre-Dame-de-Grace, Cote-St-Luc, Montreal's downtown area, Town of Mount Royal, Westmount, and the West Island. Kells' excellent high school facility offers classrooms equipped with advanced teaching technologies (including PC and Mac laptops, SmartBoards, and iPads) for Secondary I-IV classes. The building houses both Music and Art rooms, our own IT/Resource Centre, a Learning Centre, and Science Lab. The building's cafeteria is a warm and inviting place where our students can enjoy lunch in a relaxed atmosphere, possibly followed by a table tennis game. At lunchtime, hot meals are served each day, in addition to our cafeteria's several cold options. Equally, students are most welcome to bring their lunches. Adjacent to Kells Academy High School building is a fully equipped gymnasium, an outdoor soccer field, baseball diamond, and winter skating rink, all accessible to Kells sports enthusiasts both during and after the school day. Students also have access to the recently opened NDG Sports Centre located at Benny and Monkland, a superb new facility housing a beautiful double gymnasium and a 25-meter swimming pool. Kells' residence will offer the incredible convenience of being on-campus for elementary students and minutes away for our high school. Living at the International Residence will connect students with a community where they can make lasting friendships, experience the city, and develop a range of academic and life skills. Our residence will not be just a convenient place to live, but an essential part of the overall Kells experience. This will be your home away from home. We plan to offer tutorial support and ESL classes. Social events on weekends will include sports, arts, outings, and trips to local events. Our accommodation will provide a modern yet homey atmosphere for students from 10 to 18 years of age. It will feature fully furnished suites with shared laundry and kitchen facilities, as well as a clean, secure, and smoke-free environment. Approximately 40 students will live in residence. This is a unique opportunity for students from various communities and countries to share in the boarding school adventure.

A warm and welcoming environment for any child's early education experience, the contemporary-style elementary building, housing Kindergarten to Grade 6, offers bright and colorful classrooms and boasts its music room, library, and a cafeteria, where hot meals—included in the elementary fees—are prepared and served daily. The gymnasium is equipped with a climbing wall, and the large, secure outdoor play area has its own synthetic turf soccer field, play structure, and a beautiful outdoor classroom (garden) maintained by Kells students. All classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards (SmartBoards), and all students have access to laptop computers and iPads. Working as an educator in the public sector, I found that devoting time to after-school tutorials was the most positive and enriching experience for my students. I was consistently impressed at what students were able to learn and accomplish in a few short tutoring sessions compared to the hours spent trying to master the same material in the classroom. This led me to consider a practical application of the tutorial model in a classroom setting and resulted in the 1978 establishment of a unique tutorial service: the Westmount Learning Centre and, ultimately, to the founding of Kells Academy. To recreate the one-on-one tutorial experience, we committed to a warm, welcoming environment and engaging supportive and enthusiastic teachers. Using this model, we were able to make learning more engaging, meaningful, and relevant. Most importantly, teach at the individual pace of each student— attributes we maintain and adhere to, to this very day. In 1990, Kells Academy acquired its building in NDG at the corner of De Maisonneuve Boulevard West and Park Row West. Further expansion took place in 2004 with the acquisition of the Hydro Quebec building situated on Cavendish Boulevard corner of De Maisonneuve. Now, our thriving elementary campus under the direction of Marla Perlman. CHOOSING THE RIGHT KINDERGARTEN FOR YOUR CHILD IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISIONS YOU'LL EVER MAKE! Enter a welcoming environment where teachers understand that a one size fits all learning approach does not work. At Kells kindergarten, top-notch teachers engage students by adapting to each learner's needs, ensuring a "just right" level of instruction. In this environment, students trust their teachers, are inspired to discover, to learn, to be creative, and above all, develop confidence in their skills and abilities.
