A French Higher Education Institution is developing national and international education, research, and expertise in agricultural, food, and environmental science. ISARA-Lyon is a French "grande école" (graduate college) specialized in agricultural, food, and environmental science. The French Ministry of Agriculture recognizes it. For more than 50 years, ISARA has been offering a wide range of Bachelor and Master. Our ambition is to be a French Higher education, ISARA offers a wide range of Bachelor and Master level curricula in agriculture, food science, social science, agribusiness, and environmental science. We also develop research activities and advisory services, mainly in two fields. TERRA ISARA Endowment Fund aims to "define agricultural and food systems able to produce sufficient quantities of healthy food products, while preserving the natural resources and enabling farmers to live decently off the land. Human skills are the most essential to define and implement new agricultural and food systems. TERRA ISARA wants to facilitate access to ISARA-Lyon educational programs to any motivated young person, whatever their origin and financial means. Promote the creation of innovative activities and companies in agricultural and food value chains. TERRA ISARA makes specific means available (technical support, access to technological resources, quality certification...) to support the long-term creation of innovative companies. The laboratory of analytical chemistry: support to teaching and research. Equipped with any necessary material to the chemical analysis of any sample from living organisms (spectrophotometer, gas and liquid chromatography, mass spectrometer) Several English or French-taught higher education programs are offered to international students. Whether you are a student from a partner university or not, a professional wanting to complement your training, with knowledge of French or not, you can find at ISARA-Lyon the educational program adapted to your project. The French state recognizes our Master-level diploma. Engineering Programme with a scientific and professional approach prepares students to occupy management positions in different organizations, public institutions, companies, and laboratories in the agricultural and food sectors. ISARA-Lyon Engineers occupy management positions in France and abroad in research and development, production, marketing, and project coordination in the agriculture and food sectors. The curriculum is organized so that students can get involved in the ECOTROPHELIA competition, an outstanding didactic opportunity in innovation project management. ISARA-Lyon offers the possibility to obtain a second diploma at a partner university in Europe or South America. Double degree students can obtain two diplomas at the end of their curriculum (with one to two additional semesters): ISARA-Lyon engineering diploma and the foreign partner university (engineering or master degree).
