Since its inception in 1976, the University of Hawaiʻi – West Oʻahu has been committed to delivering accessible, affordable higher education to residents on the Leeward Coast through dynamic, flexible, and responsive methods. UH, West Oʻahu moved to its current campus in 2012 and continues to construct new facilities to meet its growing enrollment needs. What is happening on campus? New programs, clubs, and support services provide UH West Oʻahu students with various opportunities for academic, personal, and professional enrichment. UH, West Oʻahu maintains an Office of Student Life, a go-to center for student activities, involvement, and leadership opportunities. The Office coordinates events, including the Community and Club Involvement Fair, that invites community organizations and businesses and student organizations and clubs to engage students. It also hosts Monthly Munchies where students can mix while enjoying free coffee or tea, snacks, and other goodies. The Office of Student Life recognizes the importance of connecting, engaging, and supporting students throughout the semester. It also assists with signature student-led events — Fall Fest and West Fest — which are one-day festivals that celebrate the University and, most importantly, students.
