        Hatyai University

        Madam Praneet Didyasarin, the Founder and Administrator of Hatyai Amnuaywit School Group, has over 40 years of educational administration experience. Through her hard work and dedication, Madam Praneet established Hatyai City College in 1996 with the Ministry of University Affairs' approval. Many celebrities, academics, and honored guests were served pm the University Council. Since the first day of establishing Hatyai City College, we keep going to create educational development to be a leading private university in Thailand. With hard effort, the University currently receives university status and continues its development to be the University of Research and Learning. HU now has seven faculties: the Faculty of Business Administration consisting Management, Accounting, Marketing, Business Computer, Human Resource, and Industrial Management Program the Faculty of Law consisting the Law Program the Faculty of Political Science consisting Politics and Government, Public Administration and Local Government Program the Faculty of Liberal Arts consisting Business Thai Program the Faculty of Science and Technology consisting Information Technology and Geo-informatics Program Faculty of Communication Arts consisting Communication Arts Program and Graduate School comprised of Educational Administration and Business Administration Program. The University is located in Hatyai City, a thriving business, transportation, and education hub in South of Thailand. Its proximity to Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia offer an excellent opportunity to establish smart partnerships with other higher learning institutions in the region and beyond. Hatyai University is genuinely a college in the park. Its natural surroundings are conducive to the development of learning both inside and outside the classroom. The college has been specially designed to be in harmony with nature. It offers a friendly, supportive atmosphere for the university community's intellectual, social, and physical development. Meaning HU is not only an institution that provides higher education to the community, but it also emphasizes that its students carefully utilize their thoughts, knowledge, and ability in a righteous light. The Thinker stands in front of the second building to reflect the University's philosophy. It was Rodin's masterpiece, which was inspired by Michelangelo and was famous in the Renaissance period. HU's vision is to be the leading private University in Thailand to go international and produce professional graduates for society's good. Hatyai University is determined to contribute and respond to the country's needs by producing the highest qualitative graduates, research. Our mission is to extend academic services to communities to preserve Thai arts and culture under effective administration and participative management and modern innovations and technology applications. Hatyai University is one of the fastest-growing private universities in Thailand, with an increasing number of students. The University began its operation with only 180 students taking a class in 1 faculty with three curricula. After four years since its inception, Hatyai University has more than 3,000 students. Currently, the University is offering 14 curricula operated in 5 faculties. With its primary aims on the academic standard, the University is thus fully accredited by the Ministry of University Affairs. Our graduates, therefore, are full of ability to facilitate social development with their honor and equivalent to the graduates from the government universities.
