An Early Learning to Year 12 campus, Encounter was established in 2001 and is fortunate to benefit from a vibrant, pioneering spirit that enables us to meet change and challenge with enthusiasm. Being a school of the Lutheran Church, our faith inspires us to care, to lead learning with passion, and to strive above and beyond for your child and their welfare. We are conscious of the changing nature of education and seek to provide a genuinely unique pathway for each child and a perspective that will allow them to embrace their future with an open heart and mind to others and their world. That is our commitment to you as Encounter's families, as we seek to be the best we can be while striving to offer the same for your child. The Encounter Lutheran Community exists to: Share the peace of Jesus, make a real impact on the lives and learning of students, and nurture dynamic partnerships. Our Vision is To be a connected community where innovative teaching inspires action and where God's love is shared and celebrated. Encounter Lutheran College invites prospective families to book a personal tour of our College with Principal Kelvin Grivell. This is an informative way of experiencing "first-hand" what we offer our students and families and the "community-feel" of our College. We have significant intakes in our Early Learning Centre, Reception, Years 7, 8, and 10, with limited vacancies available in all other year levels. Applications to enroll your child at Encounter can be submitted at any time. We encourage early applications to increase the likelihood of securing a place for your child in your preferred entry year. This will incur a $50 application fee. Upon receiving your child's application, an interview will be arranged with the Principal or relevant Head of School. A formal written offer of enrolment will occur and will only be confirmed upon receipt of the application completed documentation and the payment of a $250 enrolment deposit. View full school
